drunken First sail down the Tyne, turn left at Tynemouth, head due north for 46 miles, weigh anchor wade in and your there, alternately there is a bus every blue moon or, last but not least take the train to Alnmouth then hitch.

Not the easiest of places to get to there is a bus from Newcastle to Berwick maybe the 501 best check it out,but not sure of the frequency, make sure you have a wee before you leave though.

Most embarrassing ,we have had to order in some beer as ours is moving so quickly, now down to one product on the bar to make it last until Sea Wheat comes on. cyclops

Thanks, spoke to John Holland at darlington yesterday and he said it was a bitch to get too. Still a pleasent summer stroll could be on the cards.

Just to clarify.

I was at Darlo BF on Fri.; a very good event it was too by the way, and did explain the difficulties in getting there by public transport ie at the time I last did it, it was a bit of a walk from the nearest bus stop to the pub.

But then going by car as it has to be left in the car park above the village involves a walk, albeit much shorter, as well.

However those of you who know me will know that I would never say that it was a "bitch to get too"!

Cheers,
John Holland.

Should all these notes now be sent through a place for The Ship rather than using Barefoot. (Gone but not forgotten)
