Please note that information given on this site regarding the beers we are featuring at the festival are somewhat incorrect.

Newcastle Pioneer, is correct

No Gladiator, Centurion was requested by CAMRA, so that is what we have to provide.
It is not a dark session bitter, conversely, it is a light coloured stonger best bitter at 4.5%. (Gladiator is only 3.8%)!!!!.

Ouseburn Porter, as it would suggest is a richly coloured and flavoured dark porter, with bags of chocolate and liquorice overtones, and a creamy texture. Very satisfying.

Sorry, but things like this are important for a level playing field, and if the details of the porter where not there, simply call us up and ask for them.

I hope the correct details are in the program! After all, we have paid to advertise in it.

Enjoy the festival, see you there.
Northern Brewer.

Thanks for the information - I just posted the list on the website as it was given it to me by the Festival Organiser. I will update the information on the website with the details you have given.

See you next week at the festival

Hi Northern Brewer,
all the beers(H&B) that were on at the festival were SPOT on incl the the gorgeous porter ;-)
Was slightly dissapointed as there was ' no description' for the porter :-( Was looking forward to sending my old man an electronic version of the description ;-)

Congratulations on getting a handfull at the uni though fella ;-)
Cheers
