Always nice to have a beer or two with him. May and the start of June have been incredibly busy, with business in retail and wholesale booming. Last month we brewed Northunberland Gold, due to popular demand, and it sold out very quickly meaning we had to brew a second 'special' in May. "Sea Dog" a light dark beer....eh? spicy beery fruit with a rich toasty finish, as per flying of the shelf this brings the grand total of beers brewed to date to 8 in just over a year,you would think that the brewer had done this sort of thing before. However, does anyone know when the beer of the festival is announced, and how it is decided on. Who makes the choice and actually votes.

I have spoken to a few CAMRA members who all seem rather vague on this, and were over the last few years at the Newcastle festivals I asked them about this.
