Hello to you all, hope you are enjoying the start of British Summer time. The snow serves as a good reminder of our climate.
Anyway, it's nice when you are tucked up in the warm pub and enjoying a pint of good real beer, preferably from your Newcastle based brewery, Hadrian and Border.

This month we have the Old Kiln Ale as our special, not brewed since the Border Brewery days (I think). We have slightly changed the hopping to give this dark copper coloured bitter a good and subtle hop finish. Get your orders in soon, as last month we had two specials, Byker Jazz and RAF Boulmer Ale, and the sold faster than a Bugatti Veyron with a racing driver on board.

The Old Kiln Ale is 4.0% ABV.

Our bottled Tyneside Blonde continues to sell well, and has been embraced by many of the quality hotels and restaurants in the area. We have some Farne Island Bitter being bottled as we speak, and look forward to its launch in the next couple of weeks.

Take care and hope you all enjoyed the Beer Festival.

Northern Brewer.
