Hi Andy and thanks, the beer must have been good, it's called Milan, not Merlin, but that little slip of the tongue just shows how 'magic' it must have been for you. Enjoyed your company at the weekend, always good to see you.

The beer is a brand new formulation, (AND NOT A BLEND!!!) that I came up with at the request of my ever trusting boss Andy. It uses light coloured malts coupled with Perle hops and a hint of Bramling X in the aroma stage. Chuffed with it myself, I am. It's sold out now anyway, which must surely be a good sign.

Look out for all of our usual stock beers, and this month's Round Table Ale at 4.3%.

Hope to see some of you around this summer, maybe the launch of the 'Locale' drive in the Boathouse over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

In the meantime, thanks to you all, from the whole team at Hadrian & Border. We dont mind slaving over a hot copper and mash tun, as long as you continue to play your part in drinking the stuff!

Take care, Northern Brewer.
