Hi to all, and thanks to Andy Lloyd for his comments. Always nice to have a beer or two with him.

May and the start of June have been incredibly busy, with business in retail and wholesale booming. Last month we brewed Northunberland Gold, due to popular demand, and it sold out very quickly meaning we had to brew a second 'special' in May. That second beer was Byker Wit at 4.3%, a refreshing, easy drinking ale, ideal for the warm weather we have been lucky enough to enjoy of late. It too is now gone.

Tomorrow I will be brewing Northumbrian Cask Lager at 4.1%, we last did this in June last year and it proved to be a big hit. Again if the weather remains fair, it is an ideal partner to a summer day. Hope you enjoy it.

Regarding the bottled products, sales continue to grow, with the beers in many of the finer bars and restaurants in our area. Many shops have been putting in repeat orders too.

Hope you all have a pleasant summer, helped along with a few pints from your local brewer.

Cheers, Northern Brewer.

Cheers Northern Brewer,
Credit where credit is due my friend ;-)
Any ideas when the Cask Lager will be available? Will it be the usual outlets?
Good to hear that during the economic climate sales are improving, just goes to show how H&B are going from strength to strength every month ;-)
Keep up the good art in brewing ;-)
Cheers
Andy
