Not much to report this month.

The owners, Steve and Sally Urwin have been concentrating on their new baby daughter, Lily Jill, born on 21st January, so, understandably, the brewery has been left to tick over for a while!!

There are whispers of a one-off special beer to "wet the baby's head" but no firm details yet.

Sales of the usual range are still going well.

I'm planning on a visit later this month to discuss the special to be brewed for Newcastle Beer festival. Current thoughts are for a traditional cloudy german-style wheat beer, possibly with lemon added, with an ABV about 5 or 5.5%.
