The Tap & Spile, Hexham reopened on the Thursday before Good Friday. It has had a modest refurbishment and was offering LocAle beers from Wylam and Hexhamshire in addition to Black Sheep, GK and Durham when visited on the following Tuesday. However, it does still offer the most expensive pint in Hexham (or almost our entire branch area for that matter), £2.95 for Wylam Whistle Stop or Hexhamshire Whapweasel! Yes, you've guessed, it's still owned by Enterprise Inns (or whoever own them these days).
