As an update to the info provided for the 5th Jarrow Brewery Bash

The act is now confirmed as the acclaimed William Maurice, an Elvis tribute all the way from Canada.

The 5% new brew is progressing wonderfully and has been given the name Jarrovian Gold. Jarrovian being someone who was born at Danesfield Hospital and hales from Jarrow.

Should be another cracking night.

Old Cornelius (Westoe Brewhouse) is now in the free trade (no not the pub).

Good night and a canny turnout. The Celebratory Port Stout was its usual best and 'free' whilst all the other beers (including Tring Colley's Dog) were £1.74. Unfortunatley Jess decided not to put the 5th Anniversary Ale on as it wasn't conditioned enough for him. Apart from the select few (5) who qc'd it you'll have to wait another couple of days for it to reappear. The competition to name the beer should have a result by then as well. drunken
