PostSubject: New tick from Jarrow   Sun Aug 23, 2009 8:25 am

Jarrow brewery are pleased to announce the launch of their latest ale, Jarrow Slake 4.1%abv at the Maltings Public House, Claypath Lane, South Shields @ 19:30 on Thursday 27th August 2009.

For those not in the know:
Jarrow Slake is an expanse of marshland / mud that resides at the mouth of the River Don as it flows into the River Tyne. Its most famous inhabitant was William Jobling who was Gibbeted here for a murder some say he never committed.

Descriptions however are somewhat tounge in cheek.
A murky brew with good body and a strong nose! lol!

All welcome!
