Things were certainly heating up at the Ship Inn Brewery on Wednesday as our compressor decided to burst into flames and have a little fire, two fire engines later, lots and lots of smoke and gallons of water, the fire was extinguished.
The main thing was that nobody was hurt and the building was only smoke damaged so a result there. although the brewers wellies did go up in flames ,fortunatlatly not with the brewer in them.
Brewery re-decorated by Robin and myself new hoses etc re ordered hope to be back in business late next week batch of Sea Coal down the sink though,
The planned new beer may now be called "Phoenix ale"

Sorry to hear about your melted wellies and also the loss of a brew of sea coal though by the name sounds dark and mysterious, how long before the next brew as no two brews are ever the same and its along trek from the toon, I'm pleased you where not in the wellies and surprised the ale didn't help put out the fire, how many ales are on sale before Easter?
