silent Since the great fire of Newton(this will be talked about for the next four score years and ten )The brewery was shut down for two weeks, our stocks were soon depleated so "Devils Soup" was ordered in from other micros much to the dispointment of the customers, however frantic brewing by the local brewer soon built up the stocks again. after carefully eeking out what we had with the guests we were back in business again, the last half term 28 x 9's in five days, on the easter weekend 29 x 9's in four days at the moment there will be six products for the coming bank holiday(only five handpulls)beers outselling bsheep 15-1.
The new beer brewed in celebration of Christines latest grandson Oliver is to be re-badged and two brews have alreay been, done perhaps.......Low Newton By the sea Magic.
Sea u there or be in the square. cheers

Many beers make light work or at least the computer/laptop, at least we now know the brewery is working again, have the wellies been mounted behind the bar?, which ales will be available for the bank holiday ? did the fire destroy the tasting notes ? how many are new ? Normal service has been resumed and we can get sand in our toes again.

Having finally decided to make the long trek we called in yesterday dinnertime for the first time. An excellent little pub in a fantastic location.
Slightly dismayed that there were two 'guests' on the bar but of the three 'Ship' ales that were on they were all excellent, my favourite being the Dolly Daydream. When it went off we were hoping one of the others would go on but the barman just put another daydream on. scratch
The crab sarnies were exquisite as well and with an ice cream van down the road what more could you want on a visit to the seaside.
Not sure about the Thatchers Gold tho, perhaps Westons Organic would look more traditional.
