| Yes, thanks to a spirted delivery from Gary of Solway Cider we now have several outlets for Solwanese Cider. The bad news is stocks are disappearing fast (helped by lashings of good weather and ICE before the Emerald Bus gets in his three penneth).
Newcastle Arms, St. Andrews Street, Newcastle Solway Friggin in the Riggin 7.0% £2.70pp deceased Sat 02.06.2007 Solway Marra Monster Mash 7.0% £2.700pp Solway Dog Rough 7.0% lurking in the cellar Also Thatchers Traditional 6.0%
Boathouse, Wylam Solway Marra Monster Mash £2.80pp from the cellar Solway Dog Rough £2.80pp from the cellar Also 3 Westons Ciders, 1st Quality, Bounds Brand and Old Rosie
Riverside, Commercial Road/ Mill Dam, South Shields Solway Dog Rough £2.50pp direct from the cellar Also Westons Old Rosie
Next delivery is 5th June to the Cumberland Arms, Byker and Robin Hood, Jarrow.
Looks like being a good summer. And don't forget the festival at the Newcastle Arms where there will be plenty of Cider and Perry to sup (and ICE for those that sophisticate). |
