Owned by Enterprise Inns who will not sound proof the building after complaints by locals and objections from the City Council.

Is the local CAMRA branch interested to save the Cooperage.

The Cooperage has only been a pub since the mid sevenities when a local businessman bought it and turned it into a pub. In the early eighties I remember drinking Matthew Brown John Peel, Drybroughs Pentland and Marstons Owd Rodger!!
It has always been a live music venue and it seems a shame that people who chose to live near an established pub can force it to close!!

are they going to serve a gagging order on the shower of drunken wankers that populate the area on the weekends? Last time i was in the Cooperage some fella called Leon had it and there were big things in store for the place.
