PostSubject: Barley Mow Inn, Birtley, 2nd Music & Beer Festival   Wed Jan 02, 2008 8:16 pm

For those of you who don't know them here are the details of an up-coming event which I think is deserving of support:

It will take place from Thurs. 7th Feb. to Sun. 10th February 2008; the same dates, I know, as the Newcastle Arms beer festival, and follow the same format as last year's successful event.

There should be 20 or so real ales available, all named after animals, and an extra temporary bar counter installed in the public bar.

I am also told that new beers from, at least, Consett Aleworks and Bull Lane Brewery should be available.

Obviously if I get sight of a beer list in advance I will post the details.

Cheers,
John Holland.
