Our long awaited presentation evening for CAMRA Pub of the Year 2007 will be held on the evening of Thu 3rd May. All are welcome but please be advised to get there early as Chris Palmer has generously offered to buy a pint for the first 50 guests through the door, what a geezer!!

Planned beers for the evening are gold tankard, rivet catcher, mordue coffee porter, jaipur ipa, nottingham mild & amber ales strong pale ale 5.2!

Oh, also if you would like to take a wee peek at our new website then please log on to www.newcastlearms.co.uk. (NB If this hyper-link does not work please copy/paste into your browser). Our web address is not yet linked to search engines (all in good time) but will give you an insight as to what is in our cellar and forthcoming beers etc. There are a few tweaks to be made and some creases that we are aware of that need ironed out but it has been designed entirely by ourselves without having to lay out five-figures to some flash bast@rd, London based web-design company, so have a butcher's and tell your pals about it. Any positive feedback shall be gratefully received.

I concur with Richard's view of the Top Arms website - excellent!
I only hope there's not a "Punters" section being added soon?
By the way, Barry, if I'm late arriving on Thursday evening stick a couple of pints down for me on Chris Palmer's tab. Cheers!
